The State of Nevada Indian
Commission office is located at the Stewart Facility located
approximately 3 miles south of Carson City.
To help you locate the Stewart Facility for the Pow-Wow,
please follow the directions below.

Directions: When you get
to Carson City, stay on the main street going south – you will go
clear through town and the road becomes a main highway with 3
lanes – you can stay in the left lane until you get to Snyder
Avenue (about 3-4 miles from downtown).
Take a left on
Snyder (there will be RV Sales on the left and Aloha Liquor on the right).
Continue on Snyder for about a mile and
you will see a large rock church building on the left and one on
the right.
Take the turn
to the right (you will see the STEWART FACILITY sign) at the main
entrance.
You may park at the Stewart community Baptist Church, which is
located on your right just as you enter the Stewart Facility
from Snyder Avenue. The Nevada Indian Commission is located in
Building #3. |
